Community Archaeology

In recent years the rise in interest in archaeology has led CHC to increase the involvement in Archaeological Community Projects, whether it is helping to create Heritage trails, providing baseline surveys for projects or simply getting a project off the ground, from Field Walking to Excavation. We are also happy to discuss Educational Projects with schools, and have lesson plans based on local area heritage resources, tailored to fit your needs. We share the enjoyment - and hundreds of members of the public have become involved in CHC projects in Scotland and England - we can help in everything from planning the project to funding, from tools lists to guides and lectures on archaeology. We provide an affordable service as our prime motive is to encourage direct involvment.
